About

Kaiming Liu holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Western University in London, Ontario, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou — one of China's leading conservatories.

Since 2019 he has taught piano and music theory to students aged 6 to 28, from first lessons to advanced performance training, guiding students to strong results in school recitals, competitions and overseas conservatory admissions. His teaching centres on ear training, musical interpretation and stage presence — and on keeping students engaged for the long term.

Alongside teaching, he remains an active performer: two full-length master's solo recitals at Western University, orchestral and chamber collaborations, and Steinway faculty–student concerts. He also brings an eye for visual design and concert production to the events he helps create.
